Student Life Summer Staff 2018 (Returning staffers)

This site is for young adults who have a passion for spending time with kids and students, sharing Christ through relationships and activities. Student Life exists to help people know Christ through His Word. We believe God's Word is relevant and instructive for the challenges kids and students face today. Our goal is to elevate God's Word so that life change can happen within the lives of our young campers. Our Student Life Camps for Kids are summer camps that help 3rd-6th graders establish a biblical foundation for their faith. Student Life Mission Camp is a Christ-centered camp for 7th-12th graders. It includes engaging worship from experienced worship leaders, learning through sound biblical teaching and Bible study, community in Family Groups, and mission projects in the local communities.

Every staffer is required to complete an application and be interviewed by one of the Student Life team members. A great staffer must have the skills, experience, and passion to see kids and students come to know the Lord. There are many needs and opportunities that allow a variety of skills and interests to be used for ministering and leading our young campers.

Student Life Roles
Store Coordinator - Serve churches by managing merchandise (apparel, accessories, CDs, etc.), tracking inventory and overseeing Student Life Store operations
Hospitality Coordinator - Serve churches and ministry partners by arranging group meeting spaces and creating welcoming environments for all Camp guests
Housing Coordinator - Serve churches logistically by making room assignments for each group
Rec Squad Leader - Serve churches by facilitating daily Recreation games and devotions while building relationships with students in his/her squad
Mission Squad Leader - Serve churches by equipping them with necessary tools, information and support as they serve the community
Lighting Director - Serve churches by ensuring the stage is well lit and creating and executing the lighting scheme during worship services
Video Director - Serve churches by overseeing visual aspects during worship services, including live cameras, projectors, videos and lyrics.
Audio Engineer - Serve churches by amplifying all sounds occurring on stage to help create the worship environment
Production Assistant - Serve churches by managing the stage area and being available to help with any other production needs
Stage Host - Serve churches by hosting worship environments and performing live creative elements, spoken words and comedic sketches to engage students and point them to Biblical truths
Student Life for Kids Actor - Serve churches by performing dramas, spoken words and comedic sketches that engage kids while pointing them to Biblical truths
SL4K Band - Serve churches by leading worship at Student Life For Kids Camp
Home Office Coordinator - Serve churches by assisting with behind-the-scenes Camp logistics/details
Home Office Inventory Specialist - Serve churches by managing office warehouse inventory of T-shirts, magazines, etc. and fulfilling store orders and team shipments
Recreation Director - Serve churches by daily management of the Recreation games while leading and equipping the Recreation staff. Candidates for this role must have at least one year camp experience, preferably with Student Life.
Mission Director - Serve churches by organizing mission details, preparing Student Pastors and Mission staff with project and site info, and troubleshooting challenges during the week. Candidates for this role must have at least one year camp experience, preferably with Student Life.
Program Director - Serve churches by creating a positive, distraction-free worship environment through leading the production staff, managing the worship room and working with Communicators and Worship Leaders. Candidates for this role must have at least one year camp experience, preferably with Student Life.
